We aim to make your experience at the Palm Theatre and enjoyable as possible. We are actively making improvements to continue to make our theater more accessible and be as transparent as possible with our current offerings.

Entrance/Loading Zone: Please use the passenger loading zone which is located on Palm street in front of the theater.

Capacity:
Screen 1 – 124 seats
Screen 2 – 89 seats
Screen 3 – 39 seats

Wheelchair spaces: Each theater has one wheelchair space with a companion seat.

Accessible restrooms: In entrance of the theater are two accessible restrooms, one single stall gender neutral restroom and one men’s restroom.

Accessible Parking spaces: The best place to park to access the theater is the Palm St. Parking lot. ADA spaces are on the first floor. Click here for a full map of spaces downtown. Anyone with a valid disabled parking placard, displayed correctly, can park on the streets of San Luis Obispo for free as long as the vehicle is not in a commercial zone, a passenger loading zone, or a Red curb.

Audio Description Headsets: We have headsets that describe the visuals on screen. Please note not all films support this. Most new releases support this feature. Headsets available at concessions.

Assistive Listening Headsets: We have headsets that amplify sound. All films support this feature. Headsets available at concessions.

Closed Captioning Devices: We have closed captioning devices that display subtitles on a device that sits in your cup holder. Please note not all films support this. Most new releases support this feature. Devices are available at concessions.

Assistance Animals: Assistance animals are welcome at screenings.

Subtitled Screenings: All foreign-language films are subtitled in English.

Spanish Language Translation: We are partnering with a new app called TheaterEars. TheaterEars is free to download and will play a Spanish language track that syncs to the audio of the film.
